. . . . Ms. Davis-Wilson has created an in-depth story of family, the promises, betrayal, and forgiveness woven within detailed plots and subplots. Set among horse farms and the glamour of success and failure of believable situations and characters. A truly enjoyable
read for anyone who loves long, sweeping family sagas. I found it be an engaging and
heartfelt drama . . .

Thomi is a successful actress and a triplet in a large family. She has a terrible track record with relationships. Her latest has borrowed nearly all of her money and attempted to rape her. To top it off, he stops by on his way to the West Coast with his cousin's ex-fiancee to ask for more money. That cousin, Stephan Deverill stops by to see her the next day and seems to be in a rather questionable hurry to make her his wife. Both he and his cousins Stormi and Kourtnay seem to be keeping too many secrets. Stephan professes to love Thomi, but can not tell her apart from her sisters, leading to some interesting situations. A riding accident and a young girl's heart condition add to the drama.
This is for the most part a very entertaining story. Thomi's family and friends are very colorful and I really like the setting on the coast of Rhode Island. There are many subplots, but they do not overshadow the main story. I could identify with Thomi's frustration with Stephan and his cousins. . . . . Overall, this is a good if complicated story . . .

Joleigh-Anna Kelmann's world has just been altered drastically. Her best friend, racing partner, and cousin has been killed in a street race. His funeral is on the day that should have been her wedding day. She hasn't just lost her cousin Matt. Her fianc? Irvy just left her at the graveside, saying that he needs time and space. Soon after, she sees him with the gorgeous Holly, one of the women on his mother's preferred list . . .
This story is told in breezy conversational style. I loved Joleigh and her determination to go on after fate and her fiance blow her world apart. . . . warm story about family, tragedy, and how we recover.

I bought your book in April and I thought For The Love Of Thomi was well done with believeable characters and realistic dialogue. I do enjoy a longer story that lets me stay with the characters a while! Thomi's sisters are both a pain and a blessing! Stephan is a dream! I'm looking forward to buying more of your stories! I hope you have a Happy New Year and much success! Jaine K. FL
I'd say you have a way of writing with heart and humor! Hated getting to the end of it, though! I'm a leftie too, and enjoyed the fact that Thomi is a lefthanded person. Oh, and thanks for including a link to the character guide on your site. That's a great feature! Happy Holidays, Missy J. Brown
loved it - what more can i say? sandie from ok
Dear Neenah, . . . when you wrote about Stephan's father you might have been writing about mine! I can really identify with his feelings and enjoyed his character--especially his patience with a willful young woman! Made me wonder if you based your character of Thomi on yourself? Kathe Dean, on your side of the map . . . :)
I generally like shorter first person stories, but there were many angles of this story that caught and kept my interest . . . especially the methods Stephan uses to tell Thomi apart from her identical sisters, Rikki and Halleigh . . . and Lyndsay, too . . . nicely done! MandiLu, AL
YOU are a complete sweetheart.... thank you so much... It's lonely out here for a beginner and just wonderful to come across a friendly and helpful soul. You really are a great role model... I loved the look of the rodeo book with the cool background... very nice. Thanks for being you and for your support... Earl Hipp
Anita, Just took a tour of the family album and thought it very well done. You have much talent. A writer and have an artists eye. Very nicely done. Suebedue

Anita, I took some time and perused your web site. I was so sorry to read of your losing your parents within hours of each other. That had to be incredibly difficult.
Your write-up on the wake experience was the first of its kind I've ever read. It amazes me how our society so dodges that topic. In fact, from the Phil Donahue Show, right up to the current Oprah Winfrey Show, I have NEVER heard any talk show host broach this topic - ever - not the subject of death/loss and people's reaction to it, or the practice in our society of wakes and funerals. Truthfully, I think if there was a show or two on the topic, it would
greatly help some people, particularly young people who suffer the loss of a parent or sibling, and aren't quite sure how to process the loss, nor what to expect in the time that follows. Bottom line, it's harder when one is younger.
I've been a music writer since my teenage years (I'm now 48), something I've quietly enjoyed, as well as those around me. Writing brings both pleasure and pain, depending on what one is writing about, right?
My best,

Great poem! (DreamWind Whispers) I thought this poem was very well written and it flowed like water down a dam. Great job getting the words to fit just so where there was not a bobble or slip in the read. That is hard to do, so good job! . . . Deelyte

I give you five stars for content... beautifully said from your heart.... some very wise counsel, which I am sure will be beneficial to any who read it. I enjoyed reading this article.... You write with such honesty and genuine concern... Thank you for taking time to write this... I believe that sometimes there is an added healing in just writing things down...you have kindly, compassionately and tenderly spoken to the hearts of the reader.... I hear you....

I love the tenderness of your last two sentences...

This is a fantastic little piece that describes your children with love and a little bit of comedic care. It's cute, reads well, with fantastic meter. I enjoyed this because it reminded me of my brother when he was younger. The video games, the groceries, etc. Thanks for this look in to your life! Oracle
Very good. This (DreamWind Whispers) is an emotionaly strong poem. . . . . beautiful. Lashelle Wolte
Ride 'Em Tough-- I love this peice! You captured the excitement, the nerves, the danger of bronco riding perfectly! It grabbed my attention and refused to let if go until the very end. I was hanging onto every word and itching for the next to see what happened! WELL DONE!!!! Jade
