All For The Love Of Thomi

Dr. Stephan Deverill, DVM needs a bride in order to inherit his grandfather's vast fortune—and he's willing to marry anyone in order to do it. Only, not, necessarily, for the reasons one might expect.

The hitch in his objective is his actor cousin Charley Ascott. For, having been cut from the will, Charley is determined to make sure Stephan misses the appointed deadline. When Charley absconds with Aveleen Holbrook, Stephan's fifth and latest fiancée, Stephan moves in on Charley's abandoned love interest . . . actress Thomasyna Tollefson . . . gambling that she won't want another thing to do with Charley.

Thomi, hurt in more ways than one by Charley's duplicity, is dreaming of finding someone to love her for herself, not for her fame or her own wealth—depleted, however, as that is, just now—thanks to Charley. Who can blame her if she doesn't quite believe Stephan's claim of LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?

Even if he did save her life out on the cliffs behind her house! Why should she trust anything he says—he's Charley's cousin, after all. So, how different can he be . . .?

    The Resurrection Of Joleigh-Anna Kelmann

It's no surprise to the Kelmanns that more friends and relatives show up for cousin Matt's funeral than had promised to attend Joleigh-Anna's wedding. But immediately after the funeral, Joleigh's fiancé, Dr. Irvyn Woodworth calls off the wedding.

    Indefinitely.

Matty's death has hit him hard. They'd been more like brothers than best friends, so Joleigh understands his sorrow. Matt's death has affected everyone in ways none of them imagined. But, Irvy's confusion and grief is leading him down paths Joleigh never expected he'd take. He's actually checking out the women on his mother's wish list for him!

Joleigh-Anna's loved Irvy since she before she could pronounce his name, her first word—Irby!

So, why does he think she'll just tamely let him go off with anyone so shallow and self centered as Holly Noelle Hallward?

Unless the ages old gossip certain ones of her relatives still circulated was true—

He'd been willing to marry her only to please Matt.

Never in her whole life has she ever felt like a little sister to him! What will it take to make him admit his true feelings for her?

Then, a horrific car accident seems to answer that for her.

Only, maybe now, it's just too late.

    A Storm In My Heart

Karla Storm Deverill Van Kirk has come back to Rhode Island to make her stand against her ex-husband, Dean. Taking a position at DreamWind Equestrian Center and falling in love with the owners' eldest son, Geoffrey, hadn't been in her plans. Dean has never accepted the finality of their divorce, and he has already killed one man for getting too close to the woman he yet considers his.

So, for her, falling in love with anyone, at any time, is a dangerous proposition.

Not that her dream of becoming Geoffrey Tollefson's new love interest—never mind his wife—will probably happen too soon, even if circumstances permitted. For Geoffrey's got problems with an ex of his own—the flighty, but possessive, Helene Stanley.

Making things more difficult for her, Stormi's little daughter, Kailey, prefers Geoffrey's company to her mother's, referring to him as her "Daddy Geoff" . . . "and why don't you wuv Daddy Geoff wike I wuv him, Momma?"

Something Helene is terribly bugged by . . .

Six foot one Storm isn't worried overmuch by tiny Helene's jealousy and black sulks—especially when Geoffrey makes his surprising move. No, in her experience, Dean poses a far greater threat to her happiness and her life.

And he has spies everywhere . . .

    Dalton's Last Stand

Braggart Ralph Henry Dalton irritates even the new substitute teacher of Jeoffrey and Jerrianna's fifth grade class. He's a Class A Annoyance that everybody would love to blast into a black hole in the remotest part of the galaxy!

When an abandoned, but uniquely talented cat enters their lives, Jerri, the creative optimist, dreams up her "perfect" solution. Hold an air hockey tournament, Saturday, and set Ralph Henry up for the ultimate humiliation! Defeat at the paws of their seven-toed wonder, Snowshoe Mal.

Malley, however, doesn't seem to like boys, and plays only if and when she feels like it. Pessimistic Jeoffrey only sees disaster in his sister's plan.

There's no way to skip by Saturday, so, Jeoffrey plots the next best thing—Malley's disappearance.

With her gone, their mom, Northfield's local champion, would have to agree to take the dumb cat's place as Mystery Guest Player! Heh! No one's ever beaten the great Kai Cei Jayne Kingsley!

Couple of things the twins didn't anticipate:

    1) that Ralph Henry actually IS deadly at the game.

    2) that, as children, the adults chaperoning this momentous event used to be friends and/or rivals themselves.

. . . and it's all coming back to them as the twins and their classmates battle on air cushoined ice leading up to the decisive match that may or may not put Ralph Henry in his place.

Could be it's not just Ralph Henry who needs an attitude adjustment!

    Yeaht . . . and doesn't it figure . . . Malley's disappeared without Jeoffrey's help.

    Stagecoach at the Old Gristmill

A simple field trip to a local gristmill ends up being the adventure of a lifetime for fifth graders and triplets, Quenton, Anna Lynn and Angel Leigh Quintanon-who, along with some of their classmates, their teacher and Mom, are whisked away back in time . . . one group at a time . . . on a stagecoach that once, apparently, had belonged to Mom's great great uncle Thomas Clarke.

Each group experiences its own troubles with mistaken identities, outlaws, Indians, unfriendly townspeople and each other.

Ultimately, the triplets and their classmates learn they have less than ten days to figure out how they can rescue Mr. Maddison from the hanging tree; Mom from the clutches of the notorious outlaw and town doctor, Judd Quintanon, and save Little Fawn's village from being wiped out . . . all on the same day!

Plus, Uncle Tom's livery stable is as stake. If the coaches are sold off, it's possible that this little goup of time travelers will never get back home to their own time.

Which may be exactly what the doctor ordered . . .

    Marooned On Planet EARTH
    Book One: The Scoville Tragedies

14-year-old Devynn X'Laena Scoville loves writing, high school senior Rodney Jacques, her family, friends and horses. Pretty much in that order. But with 3 older half brothers and 3 younger full brothers, family life has its bumpy roads aplenty!

In fact, Dad's using his last argument with Mom as excuse to find new roads without them—except he's taking his little buddy, seven-ear-old Brady with him . . . which, surprisingly, Mom allows. No big stink about it!

Making Devynn wonder—would her mom have let her go without one? Had she wanted to, that is.

She'd like to blame Mom for this tragedy occurring in her lifetime. For Mom's ability to generally find humor in a bad situation didn't surface in this last argument as it had in all the others. If it had, the Scovilles would still be one big happy family!

Still, she has her friends. And Rodney . . .

Even though Mom is standing by her rules concerning dating—especially someone like Rodney Jacques.

Rodney's the classic tall, dark, and handsome athletic type . . . with sleepy brown eyes and a smile calculated to seduce the unwary, the unwise . . . and the unwilling . . .

More vulnerable to his charm than before, and believing he can calm the chaos in her life; Devynn risks all to see him. Her mother is simply too extraordinarily strict over this kind of stuff! Besides, it's her life . . . right?

Yet, possibly, her mom's not the clueless paranoid Devynn's chalked her up to be. In fact, she might have good reason to object to this relationship.

    Her diary says so.

The secrets in it could change more for Devynn than just her feelings and outlook for one boy . . .

Could change who she is and how she feels about herself.
